The West Virginia Board of Social Work (WVBSW) provides this manual as a resource for Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSWs) supervising LICSW candidates. It offers supplemental guidance to support both supervisors and supervisees during the supervised practice period. This manual (and its associated attachments) should be used in addition to, not as a substitute for, the laws and regulations found in Chapter 30, Article 30 of the West Virginia Code.
